Lloyds Banking Group branch closures

Lloyds Banking Group announced another 60 branch closures across its portfolio of high-street brands on Wednesday as the company blamed a lack of customers for the move. A total of 60 Lloyds Halifax and Bank of Scotland closures have been announced with parent organisation Lloyds Banking Group blaming a rise in people using online banking services.

The closures announced on the same day the Chancellor made his Spring Statement will mean the banking group will have 1416 branches left in total at the end of 2022It closed 95 branches last year.
